May 18 - An Icon, an actress and a friend of the Philippine Entertainment, Bella Flores passed away at exactly 1:27 in the morning at Quezon City General Hospital.
Imelda Palpin and Ruby Arcilla who brought the actress to the hospital said that the blood pressure drop to 86 over 44 (Rappler). They rushed her to the hospital in a chance that she might be okay. But the actress could hardy breathe, they even revive them three times. Sadly the doctors said that she gave in.
Flores is said to be suffering from heart problems, diabetes and early signs of Alzheimer's disease. The condition of the actress begins to fail after a hip surgery done last 2012.
Flores first entered the entertainment industry in the 1950s at the
age of 14, and eventually became known for her portrayal of iconic
villains.
She received a Best Supporting Actress trophy from the Filipino
Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) in 1967 for her role in the
film "Kaibigan Ko'ng Sto. Nino."
In 1989, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Film Academy of the Philippines.
Flores' wake will be held at the Loyola Crematory Chapel in Quezon City starting 7:00 pm Sunday.(ABS-CBN)
